Closing the say-do gap for women in the workplace

by Truevine

As we hit the anniversary of COVID-19 and celebrate Women’s History Month, it’s important to reflect how the pandemic has affected progress for women. McKinsey’s Women in the Workplace 2020 study found that women, especially women of color, have been significantly impacted. Some have experienced promotion setbacks, financial difficulties, mental health challenges or even have been forced to leave their careers.

McKinsey reports that companies must invest in making workplaces more flexible and empathic. Agencies need to ensure they are not widening the say-do gap by promoting mental health and wellness while contradictorily overworking and burning out their employees.
