How to communicate about vaccinations

As the first vaccines are being distributed, communicators can play a significant role in increasing uptake as they serve as trusted sources of information for their employees. But to be successful, communicators must understand the science behind vaccine communication, including the audiences, the determinants of uptake, and theories as well as biases to help guide strategies, applications, and frameworks from a multidisciplinary perspective.

The Institute for Public Relations has launched A Communicator’s Guide to Vaccine Communications that features nearly 30 contributors and more than 100 research articles about these topics and more, along with the IPR Vaccine Communication Resource Center.
